A mixture of greens of the freshly cut grass on a spring morning; this elegant tourmaline replicates the light green and dark green. The stone expresses the gradient of light green and dark green perfectly, making it look stunning under any situation. With a vitreous lustre and dimensions of 14.43mm by 5.96mm and a pavilion depth of 4.60mm, this tourmaline was mined from our mines in the African continent. The stone supports a carat weight of 3.73 carats and an eye clean clarity. The cut features a rectangular shape and modified emerald cut with step cuts on the pavilion facets. The credit goes to our master cutters who are able to not only give an amazing cut but also accentuate the existing colour duality in the stone. The overall shape of the stone could be used to represent someone with a strong and solid personality. Like nearly all of the tourmalines in our collection, this piece has not undergone any treatment.

African Tourmaline

Tourmalines are a type of gemstone from a group which composes of boron-silicate minerals, coming in a variety of different colours. It also contains different elements such as magnesium, sodium, aluminium, iron, potassium and lithium.
