The “ALTURA” Collection by The Opal Diamond Factory and The Gem Monarchy is our first collaboration jewellery collection. The word “ALTURA” in Spanish means “rise”. As it is our first, the word rise is fitting as it is the rise of an amazing collaborative partnership. In addition all of the pieces in the collection has symbolism to all of the simple yet beautiful colours which can be seen when one rises into the sky. From the mixture of orange and pink of the dusky sky to the blues and greens of the oceans and fields, this collection aims to promote the world of colour in jewellery.
The collection has pieces which covers a range of pieces, at a variety of price points. To lead the collection from the front we have a couple of heirloom pieces. Additionally, “ALTURA” has a couple of jewellery sets of ring, pendant, and earrings. Each piece and set are given a personality given the colour of the gemstone in the centrepiece. We hope you enjoy our first collection.

EL FUEGO
The first heirloom piece of the collection is the EL FUEGO meaning “the fire”. It highlights the primary colour of the burning flame, a fiery orange. In addition, EL FUEGO was made to commemorate the discovery and use of fire on earth and replicate that same warmth on your ring finger. Additionally, It allows the wearer not only to exude an aura of invitation, but also give all those who surround them an underlying passion and happiness.
Made from 3.38-grams of 18-carat rose gold, this illustrious beauty contains a Natural Hessonite Garnet in a modified hexagon cut of 2.24-carats as the centrepiece. In addition, it has a total of 62 diamonds surrounding it, all weighing up to 0.48-carats.
CIELO ROSA
Our Second Heirloom piece is CIELO ROSA, which means the pink sky. It represents the sky just before dawn where the warmth of the sun mixes with the fading of the night sky creating. The light pink hue symbolises friendship and affection, creating a harmonious aura around the wearer. In addition, The light shade allows the purity of white to intermingle within the piece, on your finger. Overall it is the perfect heirloom piece, for a perfectly loveable and affectionate person.
Made from 4.00-grams of 18-carat white gold, this innocent sparkler contains a Natural Tourmaline in an Emerald cut of 1.90-carats as the feature. Also, it has a total of 62 diamonds surrounding it, all weighing up to 0.48-carats.
SOLE BESADO
Our first jewellery set in The “ALTURA” Collection is the SOL BESADO, ring-pendant-earring set. What we have tried to emulate is the bright colours of the sun. No-one can quite put a finger on the exact colour of the sun… is it white? is it yellow? is it orange? or is it a mixture? It’s almost as if it was kissed by the sun. This set is perfect for the perfect person whose personality fits nowhere but yet fits just right. A warm aura, the glue of friendship, the brightest in the room, the wearer of this set overflows with these values and traits.
The ring is made from 2.82-grams of 18-carat rose gold, and contains a light variant of Natural Padparadscha Sapphire in a round shape of 1.04-carats as the feature stone. In addition, it has a total of 58 diamonds surrounding it, all weighing up to 0.56-carats.
The pendant has 0.88-grams of 18-carat rose gold, and contains, once again, a light variant of Natural Padparadscha Sapphire, but a round cushion shape of 0.57-carats on the centre stage. In addition, it has a total of 41 diamonds surrounding it, all weighing up to 0.26-carats.
The pair of earrings together have 2.75-grams of 18-carat rose gold, and contains, a pair of beautiful light variant Natural Padparadscha Sapphire of 0.46-carats total. In addition, they has a total of 56 diamonds surrounding it, all weighing up to 0.52-carats.
LAGO AZUL
Our second jewellery set in The “ALTURA” Collection is the LAGO AZUL, ring-pendant-earring set. Blue stands for depth and stability, just like the blues of the seas and the skies. It’s wearer is known to al as someone who can be trusted, their loyalty running as deep as the ocean itself. The blues of these pieces stands for wisdom and has a love for the truth. We can guarantee that you will be the centre of attention while wearing this set, especially if you have a lighter toned skin colour. Let the colour speak for you and your personality.
The ring is made from 2.69-grams of 18-carat white gold, and contains a beautiful blue sapphire in a round shape of 0.94-carats as the feature stone. In addition, it has a total of 58 diamonds surrounding it, all weighing up to 0.56-carats.
The pendant has 1.03-grams of 18-carat white gold, and contains, once again, a stunning round round blue sapphire of 0.60-carats on the centre stage. Additionally, it has a total of 41 diamonds surrounding it, all weighing up to 0.31-carats.
The pair of earrings together have 2.72-grams of 18-carat white gold, and contains, a pair of beautiful Blue Sapphires of 0.43-carats total. In addition, they has a total of 56 diamonds surrounding it, all weighing up to 0.52-carats.
