Madagascan Sapphire – Orange – Cushion – 1.88 Carats

$ 5,905.00

The colour on Madagascan Sapphires is one of the more distinctive features of gemstones from this area, and the orange in this stone is a testament to this. This is also reflected when the stone is a put under warm light, cool light and under daylight; the colour remains the same, yet the tinge changes. It is said that this orange colour is allegedly red brought nearer to humanity by yellow. With the dimensions of 6.90mm by 6.55mm and a pavilion depth of 4.55mm, this stone weighs 1.88 carats. Not only is it the carat weight which takes our breath away it is also the expertise cutting done by our master lapidarists giving this stone a rectangular cushion shape with a step faceted pavilion. Like a majority of stones in our collection, this one is not treated and is natural.

Ultimately this stone lives up to its expectations of being the “happiest colour” and will definitely bring a bright smile to your day just by looking at your ring containing it.
